There is still confusion about whether pre-existing conditions matter when it comes to the cost of your health insurance premium. KHN’s “Insuring Your Health” columnist Michelle Andrews says the answer depends on how you buy your insurance. In 2014, the health law will prohibit insurers from charging you more because of your health status.
