HRSA Awards Grants To Support Health Professions
HHS' Health Resources and Services Administration last week announced $49.7 million in grants to bolster training for health professions. The grants were divided into 11 categories: Centers of Excellence, Health Careers Opportunity Program, Residency Training in Primary Care, Faculty Development in Primary Care, Pre-Doctoral Training in Primary Care, Quentin N. Burdick Program for Rural Interdisciplinary Training, Academic Administrative Units in Primary Care, Residencies/Advanced Education in the Practice of General Dentistry/Residencies in the Practice of Pediatric Dentistry, Public Health Traineeship, Physician Assistant Training in Primary Care and Allied Health Special Projects.
