Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, Kaiser Family Foundation Host Briefing on HIV/AIDS in Latino Community
The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute and the Kaiser Family Foundation yesterday sponsored a Capitol Hill briefing on HIV/AIDS in the Latino community. The briefing included remarks by Daniel Montoya, director of government affairs for AIDS Project Los Angeles; Ingrid Duran, executive director of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute; Claude Allen, deputy secretary for HHS; Charlene Doria-Ortiz, executive director of the Center for Health Policy Development; and Jennifer Kates, a senior program officer at the Kaiser Family Foundation (AIDS Project Los Angeles release, 2/26).
