NPR’s ‘Public Interest with Kojo Nnamdi’ Discusses International Aid With AED CEO Steven Moseley
NPR's "Public Interest With Kojo Nnamdi" today will host Academy for Educational Development President and CEO Steven Moseley for a discussion of foreign aid and its effectiveness in the second hour of the program (Nnamdi, "Public Interest," NPR, 4/4). President Bush recently proposed steadily increasing over three years U.S. aid to developing countries starting in 2004 (Kaiser Daily HIV/AIDS Report, 3/27). The administration also has announced plans to increase the U.S. contribution to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria as the fund gets organized and shows success (Kaiser Daily HIV/AIDS Report, 3/15).
