‘Ask the Experts’ To Address Tax Subsidies, Health Insurance
Today at 12:30 p.m. ET, join kaisernetwork.org's "Ask the Experts" for a live webcast covering tax subsidies and health insurance. The experts will review the current system of employer-sponsored insurance tax preferences and address proposals to change that structure, including those advocated on the campaign trail. In addition, panelists will discuss how tax subsidies for nongroup coverage might work. Larry Levitt, Kaiser Family Foundation vice president and editor-in-chief of kasiernetwork.org, will moderate the panel discussion with Katherine Baicker, professor of health economics at the Harvard School of Public Health Department of Health Policy and Management; Gary Claxton, vice president at the Kaiser Family Foundation and director of the Foundation's Health Care Marketplace Project; Jason Furman of the Brookings Institution's The Hamilton Project; and Jack Meyer, a principal with Health Management Associates. Please e-mail your questions before and during the show to ask@kaisernetwork.org.
