Federation of American Hospitals Announces Senior Management Staff Reorganization
The Federation of American Hospitals, which represents about 1,700 facilities, yesterday announced several personnel changes as part of a reorganization. The staff changes are detailed briefly below.
- Vice President for Legislation and Political Affairs: Dan Boston has been promoted from assistant vice president for legislation and has worked with the federation since 1999.
- Vice President for Legislation: Jeff Cohen has been promoted from assistant vice president for legislation and has been with the federation since 1999.
- Senior Vice President for Legislation and Public Affairs: Josephine Martin was formerly the senior vice president for Public Affairs and will manage the federation's lobbying and communication activities.
- Senior Vice President for Health Finance, Policy and Legal Affairs and CFO: Steven Speil was formerly the senior vice president for health finance and policy and will manage legal and public policy development in his new position.
- Corporate Secretary: Susan Van Gelder was the senior vice president for strategic policy and will now be responsible for any issue that goes before the federation's board of directors.
