Report Examines Health Cost Increases for Employer-Sponsored Coverage
- "2004 Annual Employer Health Benefits Survey," Kaiser Family Foundation/Health Research and Educational Trust: Premiums for employer-sponsored health plans increased by an average of 11.2% in 2004, compared with an increase of 13.9% last year, according to the new report from the Kaiser Family Foundation and HRET. The report also notes that 61% of workers have employer-sponsored health insurance in 2004, similar to the 62% of workers with employer-sponsored coverage in 2003, but down from a recent high of 65% in 2001 (Kaiser Family Foundation/HRET release, 9/9).
