Updated Adolescent and Adult Antiretroviral Treatment Guidelines Released
The Guidelines for the Use of Antiretroviral Agents in HIV-Infected Adults and Adolescents, developed by the HHS Panel of Clinical Practices for Treatment of HIV Infection and the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation, have been updated from the April version. The document contains recommendations for the clinical use of antiretroviral agents in treating HIV-positive adults and teens (HIV/AIDS Treatment Information Service release, 8/13). The updated guidelines are available online, or by calling the HIV/AIDS Treatment Information Service at 1-800-448-0440.
