HUD Grant to District of Columbia To Help With Housing for People With HIV/AIDS
The Department of Housing and Urban Development has announced that it will give Washington, D.C., a $10.5 million block grant for next year under its Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS program, the Washington Post reports. The grant is part of an overall $42.3 million HUD disbursement to the city (Washington Post, 10/8).
