DELIVER Project Updates Web Site; FAO Report Discusses Food Security, Needs in Africa

DELIVER.jsi.com: The DELIVER project -- which aims to increase access to health supplies and improve product supply chains in developing countries -- recently launched several new features on its Web site, including country pages, topic pages, a searchable publications section, a new tools page and a photo gallery. DELIVER is funded by USAID and managed by John Snow, Inc. (DELIVER release, 4/11).
- "Africa Report," U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization: The 69-page report examines crop prospects and food shortages on regional and country levels. The report estimates that 23 countries in sub-Saharan Africa will need food aid in the coming months and says that the HIV/AIDS pandemic is a contributing factor to food insecurity in several countries (FAO, "Africa Report," April 2005).
