C-SPAN's "Washington Journal" on Monday examined domestic and international policy issues related to fighting HIV/AIDS. Guests on the program included Claude Allen, White House domestic policy adviser; Terje Anderson, executive director of the National Association of People with AIDS; Anthony Fauci, director of the NIH National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases; Steven Sindling, director general of the International Planned Parenthood Federation; and U.S. Ambassador Randall Tobias, head of the State Department Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator ("Washington Journal," C-SPAN, 5/9).
