Sen. Lamar Alexander said Wednesday that bipartisan legislation to stabilize the Affordable Care Act health insurance markets in the short term could pass the Senate next month as part of a broader bill. The Tennessee Republican, who chairs the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, predicted the legislation has a good chance of passing because more GOP lawmakers are coming to realize that something must be done to provide certainty to the Obamacare health insurance markets. More than 200 health and business groups have endorsed a bipartisan bill to shore up ObamaCare's insurance markets. Senate Health Committee Chairman Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) and ranking member Patty Murray (D-Wash.) announced the support Wednesday as part of their latest push to get the bill passed.
