Bush, Blair Address HIV/AIDS at Camp David Meeting
During their meeting at Camp David on Friday, President Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair issued a joint statement regarding the AIDS epidemic in Africa, Agence France-Presse reports. According to Agence France-Presse, the statement said that Bush and Blair "support the idea of a new partnership with Africa to address, in a systematic way, conflict and disease -- especially HIV/AIDS -- and to promote economic growth and good governance" (Agence France-Presse, 2/24).
