Katrina HIV/AIDS Emergency Fund: The National AIDS Fund has created the emergency fund to provide money to community-based organizations for the provision of supportive services, such as the delivery of food and water, housing assistance, medical care, case management and mental health counseling. Not-for-profit 501(c)3 organizations interested in applying for up to $10,000 in grants should complete the online application form available through aidsfund.org/naf/. Inquiries regarding the Emergency Fund or the application process may be directed to katrinafund@aidsfund.org (NAF release, 9/14).
