An appeals court has issued a busy schedule for briefs to be filed in the multi-state lawsuit challenging the health care overhaul. The Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit in an order late Friday granted, in part, a motion by the Department of Justice to expedite the appeal of a Florida district court judge's ruling that the law is unconstitutional. Now, the government's brief will be due April 4, the states' on May 4, the government's reply on May 18 and the states' reply on May 25 (Norman, 3/14).
