More than 220,000 people have signed up for Louisiana’s Medicaid expansion since enrollment started earlier this month — and ironically, the state’s early enrollment success is largely thanks to the administration of Bobby Jindal, its Obamacare-hating former governor. It was Jindal’s Democratic successor, Gov. John Bel Edwards, who expanded Medicaid through an executive order earlier this year.
